Crisis De-Escalation Certificate
Choose from two levels of Crisis De-escalation Certificate training. Both are based on non-violent communication and meet employer needs for Non-Violent Conflict Intervention (NVCI) training. Training includes how to verbally de-escalate a client and avoid conflict situations, as well as how to engage in a respectful, non-judgmental way so that the client/customer feels like their needs are being heard and addressed.
# 1 Medium to High Risk (4-5 hours and 6-8 hours)
Geared towards staff working in “front line” occupations with high-risk individuals struggling with low coping skills, mental health and/or addictions. Includes how to respond appropriately if physically attacked.
# 2 Low to Medium Risk (2-4 hours)
Conflict resolution skills for staff dealing with the general public, admin, call centers and customer service positions, customers and clients.
What to Expect
All training workshops include a needs assessment and are tailored to your place of employment, with content geared towards your specific goals and worksite issues. Cost is based on size of class, length of training, and material needed. Special corporate pricing is available, and training can take place at the worksite. Train The Trainer Workshops can also be accommodated at your workplace.
